The sun shone merrily in the window of the largest and most prominent Pokèmart of the city. Inside, business was slow. Michi Sonoda let out a wide yawn, wandiering from her position behind the counter to the front door, leaving Smeargle sitting next to the cash register, his legs hanging over the edge of the counter and swaying to and fro contentedly. He held his tail (which was also very reminiscent of a paintbush) in his hand, waving it back and forth as he bopped to the cheerful tunes emitting from a nearby radio.
The young woman opened the door, almost blinded by the bright midday sun. An overly bright grin lit her face, and she made an exagerated sort of twirl on the front porch.
"What a beautiful daaay~!" She ignored any odd looks from passers-by. A few more moments of enjoying the warm sun on her tanned face and she hopped back into the shop, placing her hands on her hips and pouting slightly.
"Kyaahhh.. It's so slooow~!" She whined loudly, clinging dramatically to a shelf full of potions.
She didn't like when there was no business.. it was quiet, boring, and there was no one for her to converse with.
Smeargle gave her a somewhat pained look. His owner was somewhat.. eccentric, to put it lightly.. But eh.. He loved her anyway. He adjusted the baret atop his head, blinking a few times at the door. She was right.. it /had/ been slow. Not a single customer all day!
