As he took his first ever steps out of the city, it was excitement like no other for Kyrobi. He thought of the many poke'mon he would encounter, the many places he would visit, and the many trainers he would meet. He also thought of his friendship with his poke'mon, especially BlazeJ, "Good bye Elemiah, hello the rest of Ecanus." he said to know one at all as he stepped on the path out of town.

He had been walking on he trail for nearly an hour, slowly so he would see and hopefully be able to catch his first poke;mon he had ever caught. Not only would he have another, BlazeJ would also gain experience points so he could later increase levels.

Kyrobi walked on, thinking he would never see a poke'mon on this trail. It bugged him. He wanted so much to train BlazeJ, but he couldn't without someone or something to battle.

"Wurmple..."
"Sen~ Tret~"
The two pokemon seemed to be conversing with one another nearby.
Moving around its stubby legs, the wurmple seemed to be telling some story to the furrier pokemon.
However, the Sentret didn't seem to be listening, as its ears twitched about, tryping to pick up sound while listening to the red pokemon.

Kyrobi heard something and stopped to look. He saw two poke'mon seemingly talking to each other. Quietly as not to scare them off, he got out his poke'dex and pointed it to the worm like poke'mon Poke'dex Using the spikes on its rear end, WURMPLE peels the bark off trees and feeds on the sap that oozes out. This POKéMON's feet are tipped with suction pads that allow it to cling to glass without slipping. Then Kyrobi pointed at the furry poke'mon. Poke'dex When SENTRET sleeps, it does so while another stands guard. The sentry wakes the others at the first sign of danger. When this POKéMON becomes separated from its pack, it becomes incapable of sleep due to fear. "Cool, I want the Sentret." Kyrobi exclaimed, "Go BlazeJ!"

Sentret's body stiffened, twitching its dark ears nervously. "Sentret!" It yelped, signalling pokemon in the nearby area that a trainer was nearby.
The wurmple, has long since, ran away.

"Okay BlazeJ, use scratch!" claws extended the Charmander lunged at the Sentret trying to scratch it.

The Sentret dropped down, ducking and hiding amongst the grass.
The scratch attack had missed.
Creeping towards the Charmander, the Sentret pounced, ready to attack with a Tackle.

(Hey, in the battles thing you said that if the post is on an even numbered minute, then it hits!)

No.
I'll save you the trouble of rereading it by explaining it here.
If the minute ends in an /odd/ number, it hits. =b
