Altar waited patiently as the professor got started pokemon for the other trainers. She shuffled her feet nervously, waiting in anticipation. Getting your first pokemon at seventeen wasn’t exactly normal, most got there pokemon companion at ten or eleven. She felt slightly embarrassed to be getting such a late start at it. Hearing the professors words, she looked up, a bit startled.
“Oh, I guess I would like to see some of the ones you have.” She said quietly, still a little nervous and unsure of herself. She hoped she could get a good one. A good starter was supposed to be critical for a serious pokemon trainer.

Kalseru also waited. She was the first here... But not the patient type. Nevertheless, she didn't make a peep.

Excited as the lab assisstant gave the professor the poke'balls, Kyrobi started a unpatient shake as she opened them. There it stood, the adorable little fire lizard type poke'mon who would one day become the one, the only Charizard, "Oh, its sooo cute, yet shall become so powerful." Kyrobi exclaimed, "Hmmmm, I shall nickname him BlazeJ." He bent down beside it and asked it, "Do like that, little fella? Huh? Do like the nickname BlazeJ?" "Char...Charmander!" the poke'mon squealed as it hugged Kyrobi, happy to finally have a trainer, "Oh, BlazeJ, we are going to be the best of buds." Kyrobi said as he picked him up and took the poke'ball it belonged in from the table waiting to see if the professor would have anymore instructions for them after she gave the others their beginners.

All of a sudden, a surge of happiness flowed throughout her. {A Trapinch!} Kira thought. Her mouth opened wide into a smile as she picked up the Pokemon. "Hi there." Kira smiled at the Trapinch, who just happened to be female. "I think I'm going to name you Jade" The Trapinch growled in delight. Embracing Jade, Kira smiled at the Professor. "Thank you so much!"

ooc//: Ah. Sorry. I meant to reply earlier but... got distracted while looking up what moves Trapinch would know. It looks like Trapinch will know BITE to begin with. =D;; And will learn Sand-Attack at level 9... For more information; www.pokemonfanuniverse.com/pokedex/pokedex.php?view=dexNo&dexNo=328 As for the second attack... I'd have to say growl or... an attack similar to them.
BiC;
"Ahahah~ It's no problem!" The professor replied. "Now... Let's see..." She began to rummage about the unorganized shelves around her. "This is your 'Gear..." She explained, holding up the trainers' gear. "To start you off, it includes three pokeballs and a potion. You'll have to buy more at a shop... Then you have you're PokeDex and trainer's liscence... All you have to do is sign it and you'll be ready to go!"
"...I'll help you two." Willow said to Kalseru and Altar. "Pidgey, right?" He asked, as if making sure his information was correct. From the same machine, another pokeball formed. "It's yours." He said, tossing the pokeball to Kalseru.
And for the Altar girl... The assistant began to key in more information and what looked like a list formed. "Dark type pokemon...Sneasel, Poochyena... We even have an Absol..." He began, reading through the list. He paused, waiting to see if she would have any reaction to the three he named. Gah! It was so unorganized! He wouldn't find anything at this rate.

Kalseru squealed with delight. She grabbed the ball and the pack and jumped around. "Thank you so much." She scampered out the door to the next route.

"... I do... worry about some of these trainers..." Willow admitted, scratching the back of the head as the first trainer to arrive was the first to leave.

Teal, still sitting like a good little Pokemon master on the floor watched as Willow was sent off to prance around the lab doing this, that and other things.
Yeah. If he ever retired from Pokemon, he wouldn't be a lab assistant. Way too demanding...
"What about a... You know, those little Pokemon that looks like handkerchiefs? ... Thoes are Dark, right?" Oh, HE knew what he was talking about when he made the suggestion, but with over 250 Pokemon it was becoming a bit hard to remember them all by name... "Now this is gonna bug me for weeks! -Wait... Shuppet? Is that it?"

Kyrobi was bursting with excitement. His first poke'mon, his first gear. He grabbed the things the professor gave to him and said, "Thank you. Good bye." He walked out the door after returning BlazeJ to his poke'ball. Now, finally, his journey would begin.

((Okay, thanks! ;D))
Kira took the items the professor gave her. "Thank you." She replied, putting the Pokeballs on her belt, and holding on to the Potion and Jade. She walked toward the door and headed home, wanting to get all of her stuff and say goodbye to her family before taking off.
~~~~~~~~~~~~
Arriving home, she ran upstairs and put the potion in a white and grey messenger bag, along with a neatly folded white hoodie. She went back downstairs and bid farewell to her parents and with Jade by her side, went off to the Elmiah Path.
Altar waited patiently as the professor handed out some gear to the other trainers. Inside though, she was screaming for the others to hurry up, she wanted her pokemon. But she managed to stay outwardly clam. Then she turned to listen as the professors assistant started naming off the dark type pokemon they had. Sneasel she had no interest in, although Poochyena sparked her interest. But her face lit up at the mention of Absol. She loved Absol’s. They were one of her favorite pokemon. “Absol!” She exclaimed happily. “I want the Absol.”
Willow practically fell over at the sudden exclamation. Wah~? Wasn't she quiet up until now? "Erm... yeah..." He mumbled, doing the same as he had done for the other trainers, typing in more text and having the pokeball appear on the other end. "Absol." He explained, holding the pokeball out to her. "Then you can go harrass her,-" He pointed at Lily. "If that's all."
Lily however, did not here this remark as she had returned to obsessing over a PokeEgg on a table near her.
Altar fell silent and blushed a bright red as she reached out to take the pokeball from Willow. She knew she had looked like a fool when she had just exclaimed that she wanted it. “Thanks.” She said quietly to both Willow and Lily. Then she beat a hasty retreat out of the lab. Outside, she gasped for breath, trying to calm down. “Ok” she thought to herself. “That’s over with, and I didn’t make TO much of a fool of myself.” Breathing deeply, she turned and headed out of town, making her way towards Elemiah Path.
Teal stood back up as the (what he thought was the) final beginning trainer bolted out the door in a massive haste. The poor wooden, rectangle structure clattered against its frame harshly before clicking closed. Brushing away any dust that had clung to his back and rear side, he then returned his attention to Willow. Again.
"Okay." His starting word had a bit of a breath in it, "You ready to go, now?" He didn't mean to be impatient, but he was a bit excited over the whole situation, after all, things get kind of dull once your at the top...
"Go? Go where? Willow, are you quitting? Willow!" Lily exclaimed, dipping into the conversation. She began to shake the younger lab assisstant.
And Willow pretended not to care, swaying back and fourth, an obviously annoyed look on his face as she continued to try to snap his neck in half. "No." He replied to the dramatic woman. "Go." Shake. "Obsess over." Shake. Shake. "Your egg. Ow..." The assistant was hurt, as something popped, sending nerves down his spine.
"Omigawsh! My egg!" The woman shrieked, throwing Willow back and running off to take care of her precious 'Project' as Willow had dubbed it.
"Er... I don't think... /Now/ is the best time." He mumbled, sounding even more annoyed. He had a general idea of what the Pokemon Master was feeling. There really wasn't much to do when you were 'the best'. It was why he had chosen to take on such a time-consuming job like lab assistant.
The Pokemon master backed off a bit as the professor began to violently throttle her lab assistant in some odd form of panic and furry. As the pop could be heard, Teal grimaced and winced. Yeish, that had to hurt...
Taking care to control his expressions as Willow turned his attention back to the professional Pokemon trainer. As the decision was decided, he was disappointed, but nodded. It did seem like a bad time, with the new Pokemon season, and Professor Lilly having a spasm there...
"Yeah, okay. No problem. I can come back some other time." Teal offered, not wanting to be a bother to productive members of society or anything.
Willow suddenly became interested in the messy, unorganized bookshelves nearby.
"We can... meet at Quaphsiel when I get time." He said finally. It was the closest lead he could think of at the moment. "There're some rumors but... The sources aren't very reliable." He added.
A dark haired head poked in through the doorway, a set of bright amethyst eyes peering around with a few blinks. The door opened wide suddenly to reveal a short, feral-looking girl. Ebon locks were a mess, and her face was somewhat dirty- she'd been training on the way here. Her dingey flannel was tied fast around her waist.
"Kyaaaah~! Lily, are you here?" She blinked around at all the trainers recieving their first Pokèmon. Wai, yes, it WAS that time of year again! The most popular time of year for trainers to start their journies. The large group made her somewhat uncomfortable.. but hey! These kids would be challengers soon! A determined grin randomly lit her features. Kyahaha.. it had been a while since she'd had an official battle. Sneasel was trotting at her side, massive claws retracted for the time being. Lantern-like yellow eyes peered around curiously.
"Snyaaah.."
