So... You're in a gym battle! You want to hit the gym leader's pokemon... but you dont' want to Godmode. What do you you? Don't worry.
Battling should be easy... and not so complicated. At least, that's how I feel.
Attacks will NOT always hit you. But then again, YOU can't ALWAYS DODGE.
At Pokemon Ecanus, everyone has a 50/50 chance of getting hit.
How do you know if you get hit? It depends on what time you post.
See how this post was made at 7:33 PM? Whether or not you're attack hits depends on the LAST NUMBER. 7:33.
If the last number is... ODD: You hit. EVEN: You missed. D:
The Magic Number 0
0 is considered an EVEN number. Why? Because all numbers ending in 0 are even numbers. 20, 30, 40, etc... They're all even numbers.
Winning It takes 6 hits... The number is subject to change...
Level 5 Mudkip vs Level 50 Charizard? Be realistic. Of course the Charizard is going to win. I don't care /if/ the Mudkip hit Charizard twenty times.
Seriously. I'm trusting you guys to be smart. Don't make it so Chibi and I have to moniter all of your fights, say who hit, and pick the winner. Its not fun for us and I'll be super strict.
Fire vs Water The amount of hits required to KO is 3 if your pokemon has a type advantage.

I have a question... What if the Pokemon are close to the same level, but one has a type advantage?

I've already predetermined my gym leader's poke'mon levels, but how would we know the area of levels to put them as so we are fair to the trainers challenging us?

The way I thought of it was, the gym levels would be similar to that of the game.
The first gym would have strong (but weaker) leveled pokemon. And as the journey progresses, the levels grow higher.
Zuphlas gym: lvl 13-16 Nisroc gym lvl: 16-20 Ramiel: 21-25 Quaphsiel: 25-30 Arel: 25-30 Kutiel: 30-35 Meher:35-40 Babel: 40-55
Levels don't have to be within the range next to the town. It's just a basic guide line. You can go a little over or a little under if you feel like it.
I hope that explains it.
