Blessed were the people of Niobe.
Blessed with the ability to communicate and understand pokemon perfectly.
Niobe, the first great city of the first great civilization. With endless wealth and good fortune to last them for many generations, the last great king, Bellephorone declared Niobe would be the capital of Ecanus. However, not content with mere prosperity, the people built a great tower.
A tower to reach the Heavens.
The Sovereign, as the absolute entity did not allow this. The Three Deities descended onto Ecanus, stripping it of its gift of understanding.
And the Sovereign descended upon the vain city of Niobe and raised the city from its foundations. High into the air, Niobe rose...
One must always remember Niobe, destroyed by the wrath of the Heavens.
Ancient Ecanus.
December 23rd. Elemiah Palace.
As Ecanus' last King, lay on his bed dying, he summoned his trusted aid. "The Treasure Room... Burn it." He says.
The Treasure Room is Ecanus' Library. The most complete collection in the world... The tales of Ecanus... Everything; priceless.
The aid is confused as to why the King would make such a request. But the aid follow the King's dying wish...
